The Dave Matthews Band is celebrating its 30th year of great music. Their first album, titled Under the Table and Dreaming came out in 1994, making it just one spot shy of the top ten on the Billboard 200. The album went six times platinum. It was the first of what would be 97 total albums if you count the three compilation disks the band made over the years.
One great thing about Dave Matthews Band is the fact that they encourage fans to record their music. It's a rare thing in the music industry. Still, with all those bootleg DMB albums in circulation, the band has managed to sell over 33 million albums, worldwide. The band's second album, titled Crash, went platinum seven times. It hit number two on the US Charts and reached 25 in Canada. From there, the following albums all charted well: Before These Crowded Streets, Everyday, and Busted Stuff. The band's live albums to go platinum include Remember Two Things, Live at Red Rocks, Listener Supported, Live in Chicago, and The Central Park concert.
In Wisconsin, Dave Matthews loves to play at the Alpine Valley Music Theater. He returns to the iconic venue on July 2 & 3.
