Penn State 2022 Season History

Penn State found themselves with an overall record of 11-2 at the end of the 2022 season. Just Ohio State and Michigan topped the team in the standings. The Nittany Lions finished the season with a streak of five wins. In the Big Ten Conference, the team's final record was 7-2. The final score of their Rose Bowl victory was 35-21. Against ranked teams, the Nittany Lions lost to both Ohio State and Michigan.

Drew Allar led the team with 344 yards in passing and four touchdown throws. His final quarterback rating for the season was a lofty 128.5.  Nick Singleton was the backbone of the team's offense. He ran for 12 touchdowns in 2022. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry, and 156 carries.
