Chase Center History

The Chase Center opened in 2019 and has a capacity of 18,064 for basketball games. The concert capacity is 19,500, with seating on the floor. The announcement that the venue was to be built came in 2012. After working out issues related to which neighborhood to place the arena in, the building started on January 17, 2017. It sits on a 12-acre site in the Mission Bay neighborhood, and the total cost to build it was 1.2 billion dollars.

Metallica was the first event at the Chase Center. The Golden State Warriors had their first game at the venue on October 5, 2019.

Best Seats for Warriors Games at Chase Center

Many fans look for the best places to sit at the Chase Center. For Warriors games, we recommend sitting in sections 115, 116, 103, and 104, sections 3, 4, 15, and 16 are even closer to the action. The upper level has a great view of the court from sections 205, 206, 207, 219, 220, and 221.

Best Seats for Chase Center Concerts

For "end stage" concert seating layouts at the Chase Center, there are great views from the reserved sections. If the stage sits between sections 118 and 101, we recommend sitting in sections 117 or 102. If the stage layout is between sections 106 and 113, we suggest buying tickets in sections 105 and 114. Those seats are elevated and they provide a great view of the stage. Floor seating can vary, depending on the stage layout. It's best to check the venue map on this page before you purchase your concert tickets.
