Huntington Bank Stadium History

Huntington Bank Field opened in 1999, and it's the home field of the Cleveland Browns football team. 67,431 fans fill the stadium on game days, after two renovations that took place in 2014 and 2015. The venue is located on the site of the former Cleveland Stadium. The total cost of construction at the time was 283 million dollars. The first game played at the stadium was a 1999 preseason game where the Browns took on the Vikings. At the time of this writing, the Browns have yet to see a playoff game at their home stadium.
