Set in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, Lucas Oil Stadium is home to the Indianapolis Colts football team. This smartly designed, multi-purpose venue blends in so well with other iconic buildings in the area. You would hardly know that it's a modern facility with a retractable roof. For NFL games, the current capacity is 67,000. When the venue is used for concerts, upwards of 51,000 fans can fit in the venue. 

Built in 2008, the stadium replaced the RCA Dome. The stadium has a modern feel but the exterior is a mixture of bricks and glass. There are four main gates to the stadium. The north gate is the Lucas-Oil gate. The west gate is named Huntington Bank. The South game is named the Indianapolis Colts. The east gate is named Verizon Wireless.  

The annual Drum Corps International World Championships are held at Lucas Oil Stadium each year. Everything from concerts to high school football tournaments is scheduled at Lucas every year. Some of the more notable events in the past include concerts such as U2, Taylor Swift, and Guns N' Roses. Super Bowl XLVI was held here, and the NCAA Final Four of 2021. 

2026 Events at Lucas Oil Stadium

Monster Jam comes to Lucas Oil Stadium at the end of January 2026. Monster Energy AMA Supercross will take place on March 7. The NCAA Men's Final Four basketball round will be on April 4 & 6. Morgan Wallen plays for two nights, May 8 & 9. DCI takes place on August 7 & 8. Bruno Mars with RAYE will play on September 9, and Ed Sheeran will perform on October 10.
