Nationals Park Tickets & Game Schedule 2023

Additional Nationals Park Info

Nationals park is a 41,339 seat stadium built in 2008 for the Washington Nationals baseball team. At a cost of just under $700 million dollars, plus the cost of transportation and extras, it was considered to be one of the most expensive stadiums built at the time. Most fans use the Washington Metro system to get to the ballpark since traffic can be a challenge on game days.

The first game was an exhibition game against the Baltimore Orioles on March 29, 2008. The first regular-season game was notable for the walk-off home run by Ryan Zimmerman, which won the game for Nationals. Since its opening, there have been improvements to the Red Porch restaurant in center field, new statues, new LED message boards were installed, and a new color for the press box. The Nationals hosted the Houston Astros for three World Series games back in 2019, ultimately winning the series in seven games.
