Nissan Stadium History

Nissan Stadium is home to the Tennessee Titans and the Tennessee State Tigers. Just east of the Cumberland River, this venue is in the heart of Nashville. It seats just over 69,143 fans on football game day. The stadium opened in 1999, after 27 months of construction. There are three levels of seating for football fans, and luxury suites are located inside several towers that support the structure. 

George Strait was the first concert to be held at the stadium. Since that time some of the biggest names in music have played at Nissan Stadium. There are four major concerts scheduled for 2024. Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan, Def Leppard, and Kenny Chesney are all scheduled to perform there. Since this is an outdoor stadium, the last concert of 2023 was George Strait. Strait performed in front of thousands on July 29. 

2026 Events at Nissan Stadium

In 2026, the events start at Nissan Stadium on April 11. Monster Energy AMA Supercross opens the season. Bruno Mars is set for a May 6 concert. Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson headline on May 23. CMA Music Festival will be held from June 4 through June 7. Ed Sheeran headlines on June 20. Coldplay will come to Nissan Stadium on July 22. My Chemical Romance performs on August 13. The Foo Fighters with Queens of the Stone Age play on August 15.
