Oakland Coliseum History 

Oakland Coliseum was the home venue for the Oakland Athletics baseball team. First built in 1966, it's one of the oldest venues still in operation. There have been many updates and upgrades to the venue since it first opened. In 1995, the coliseum underwent a 200-million-dollar upgrade. For years, the Oakland Raiders played their home football games at the Coliseum from 1995 through 2019. The capacity for Athletics games stands at 46,847. For concerts, up to 64,829 seats are available. The Coliseum is known for its expansive foul ball territory. The venue might be demolished as the Athletics are moving to Las Vegas in 2028.
