State Farm Arena Schedule and Event Tickets

The State Farm Arena is the home court for the Atlanta Hawks basketball team. Opening in 1999, as the Philips Arena, this venue cost 213.5 million dollars to build. Eighteen years later, the arena went under a major renovation. The venue was also home court for the Atlanta Dream until 2019. It seats just over 19,000 for games and 17,624 for hockey. The venue replaced the old Omni Coliseum.

In the early years of the arena, the capacity was just over 20,000. Most venues add suites and luxury boxes as time goes on. This was the case for the State Farm Arena in 2018. In 2004, the arena was the site of the US Figure Skating Championships. MMA has come to State Farm Arena four times between 2008 and 2019.
