Illinois Makes it to the Music City Bowl in 2025

In 2025, the team's overall record was 9-4. The team came out of the gate by defeating Western Illinois 52-3. In their next game, they took care of business against Duke. Their game against Indiana was a washout, but the team bounced back, defeating 16th-ranked USC. At the end of the season, the team earned a bid to the Music City Bowl, where they defeated Tennessee 30-28.
