With two teams that have been battling each other for just shy of one hundred years, there are some amazing moments to look back upon.  The Packers and Bears are two of the three oldest teams in the NFL, but they have met just twice in playoff situations.  Many will remember the Bears versus Packers playoff game of January 23, 2011.  It took a pair of interceptions by the Green Bay defense to seal the victory for Green Bay. The Packers went on to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl that year. The Chicago Bears are part of the NFC North division, and they face the Packers twice per season, not including any playoff games.

Three of these teams were playoff contenders in 2024. The Packers road games for the season will include games against the Cowboys, Giants, Browns, Steelers, and Broncos. 

2024 Packers Make Wild Card Playoff Appearance After Winning Season

The 2024 Green Bay Packers finished their regular season with an overall record of 11-6. That record placed them third in the NFC North division, giving the team a Wild Card playoff spot. Their final home game record was 6-3, and their road game record was 5-3. Their overall record would have been good enough for a first-place finish in the NFC South and West divisions. On the opening day of the 2024 season, the Packers would take on the Eagles in Brazil. Green Bay took an early lead in that game but ultimately lost to Philadelphia 34-29. This meeting would be one of two for the Packers and Eagles, as they would face off in the Wild Card round of the playoffs on January 12, 2025. 

After the opening-day loss, Green Bay would beat the Colts and Titans before losing to the Vikings. From there, the Packers would win their next four games. On November 3, the team took on the Lions. Detroit would beat the Packers 24-14. Green Bay would win its next three games before taking on the Lions once again. Green Bay had a chance to make a better move for the playoffs if they managed to defeat the Chicago Bears in the last game of the regular season. The Bears would overtake the Packers in the final seconds of the game and force Green Bay to head to Philadelphia for the first game of the playoffs. The Eagles would dominate in that game, and Green Bay's season would end. Jourdan Love finished the season with an overall rating of 96.7. He threw 25 touchdowns and eleven interceptions. The Packers are a very young team, and they are destined for another successful season in 2025.
